I've been to the Top and I've Seen it All: Seattle's Space Needle

A quick elevator ride to the top (41 seconds to be exact) and you'll find yourself at 520 feet gazing at a 360 panorama of Seattle, Washington. Opening the door to the observation deck I met the strength of the city's wind, it nearly blew me over!  Not to mention it was very cold, I kept going in and outside just to warm up for a bit. 

Welcome to the Space Needle! I love the vintage design of the ticket. I purchased a dual ticket for the Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum.

Yes! Elvis did visit in 1962 while shooting for his film "It Happened at the World's Fair".

At the top is the Skycity restaurant which serves brunch, lunch, dinner, and wine. 

And now I can say "I've been to the top of the Space Needle and seen it all!"
