Night Aerial Views: San Francisco to Las Vegas

Nightly dose of creativity

Watching the sunrise from the sky is an incredibly humble feeling. But to be honest, I'm a night person. I always have been and probably always will be. No matter how early I force myself these days, there's still that switch that flips inside of me as the evening hours roll around. Those creative juices begin to flow through my veins and I lose all track of time. Much like this night as I saw my home, the bay area, float away from me and greet the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Midnight from above

As the clock strikes 12 midnight I inhaled the views of the Bay Area, trying to identify each bridge. Bay Bridge, check. Wait was that the San Mateo-Hayward or Richmond-San Rafael bridge? I lost my sense of direction. I couldn't recognize much of the other scenes until the pilot announces we're preparing for our descent and there it is. I see the circular lights of the High Roller ferris wheel, the Eiffel Tower, and the Bellagio among other notable landmarks of the Las Vegas Strip.
